Week B4 Truck Show

April 19, 2010
  • Saturday we delivered Corey’s XJ after completing the custom hi-steer on the Dana 30 front axle. Corey was excited to see his truck in progress on our site! We set up future for SYE kit and new front ball joints.
  • Working on Old Moldy. This will be #3′s first DIY project.  He will be attempting to build a low budget 4WD fun rig. After salvaging the vehicle from the pine grove, it was decided to put together a vehicle completely from spare parts already in inventory. The vehicle is completely moldy; covered in moss & needles. Coining the name – Old Moldy. Underneath all this a very straight body complete with perfect leather interior! Original engine & trans scrapped – in place will be 302 Ford, C4 auto & model 20 transfer case from a 1974 Bronco. Front & rear axles from a 1979 Bronco. Our RMOR lift springs front & rear will be installed.
  • Work continues on Tim’s Bronco. The pinched front & rear sheet metal is almost finish welded. The full cage is progressing and the ring gears have been machined to fit inside the RMOR shaved 14 bolt front & rear axles.
  • The Rockwells should be narrowed this week on the 2005 Dodge & links built to hang them on the vehicle. 8-lug conversion worked out perfectly. Pictures to follow this week. The hydraulic steering arms are back from the machine shop.
  • On the 2004 Jeep TJ, we cut apart the front Dana 60 donor in preparation to assemble the D60 front & 3-link.
  • We have ordered black & white RMOR logo stickers for the goodie bags this weekend. Hope to see you there.
